luxury and sophistication from christian dior spring 2011

Chic and femininity, sophistication and elegance – all these Christian Dior offers for both ready-to-wear and couture, with the exception that couture is a hundred times more luxurious. John Galliano has designed awesome ballgowns, eccentric suits, below-the-knee tutus, and plenty of other interesting pieces for Spring 2011 Couture Collection.

John Galliano told in the interview backstage that the Spring 2011 Couture range was his most technically challenging collection but that was rarely obvious. No one even thought about the effort the designer had to take to create these masterpieces. People were just enjoying the view of girls strutting the runway in sumptuous dresses that could be compared to nothing in their beauty.

I don’t know which dresses you like but I literally fell in love with two of these. One is the yellow floor-sweeping strapless gown with golden flowers scattered over the right side and black feathers printed on the skirt. The second gown came in a delicate mint color with pink and yellow flowers attached all over the gown. The yoke of the latter gown was at the model’s knees.
